Celebrating Dussehra (Nursery & Prep)

DPS Greater Faridabad celebrated Dussehra with great fervour and devotion. Our young Dipsites watched movie ‘Ramayana’
and were made well aware of the vital mythological facts of the festival. They also enjoyed colouring in picture of Ravana.
Students visited the Learning Corner and were amazed to see cutouts of Ravana, Meghnath, Kumbhkaran and the concept with
importance of Green Diwali was emphasized. The whole Little Wonders Wing was filled with chanting of the slogan “Bhagwan
Ram Chandra ki Jai”. Everyone seemed to be in the state of absolute bliss.

In-House Class Picnic and Christmas Celebration (2019-20)

When you feel good, you do good.
When you do good, it reminds others of what joy feels like and it just might inspire them to do the same.”
Christmas is not just a time for merry making and joy. Christmas is about truly embracing the Spirit of Christmas - kindness, caring
and sharing. To instill these positive character traits in a happy environment, an In-House class party for the Dipsites of Classes
Nursery, Prep and I was organized, a day before the Christmas eve i.e. on December 23,2019.
The day started with students singing Christmas carols. Next they saw a movie on the birth of Christ. This was followed by Secret
Santa, wherein gifts were exchanged amongst students. Up next was the Class Party wherein students shared their favourite food
with their peers. Now it was time for our Dipsites to take a walk to visit the elegantly decorated Christmas corner and have their
photographs clicked. This was followed by fun-filled games like ‘Feed the snowman’ , ‘Passing the parcel’, ‘Santa Says’ , ‘Freeze the
Frames and ‘Aim for the Stars’. The final and the most awaited part of the day was ‘Shake-a-Leg’ wherein students danced their
heart to the tune of their favourite songs.
