Celebrating Baisakhi (Nursery & Prep)
April 12, 2019
The harvest festival was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm by the students of classes Nursery and Prep with the mesmerizing
dhol beats in the air. Dipsites dressed in beautiful vibrant Punjabi attire danced on the foot tapping music. The best dressed boy and
girl from each section were crowned as ‘Gabru’ and ‘Mutiyar’. Thereafter, our little Dipsites enjoyed making a ‘dhol’ craft using
clay and bindis. An ‘I-Spy’ corner was set up which showcased various things associated with harvesting such as sickle, winnowing
tray, wheat crop etc. Students also learned about the significance of Baisakhi through an exciting animated video. It was indeed a
cheerful, festive day for our little Dipsites, which brought in abundance, positivity and fun.
‘Splash Bash’- Splash Pool Party (Nursery & Prep)
July 18 & 19, 2019
To make this monsoon more special for our young learners, an exciting Splash Pool Party ‘Splash Bash’ was organised for classes
Nursery and Prep. The day was a saga of fun filled activities and games like Find the Tail, Treasure Hunt, Balancing Game, Hit
the Target and Find the Coins. Students enjoyed all the games that inculcated learning of share and care and strengthening the
motor skills. All students looked adorable dressed up in summer cool attire with accessories like flower bracelet, garland, flip flops
sunglasses, cap etc and had fun playing with water in the splash pool. They brought their favourite food for the “Super cool food
session” and enjoyed the ‘Corn Chaat Party‘ in class. Teachers gifted handmade crowns to girls and hats to boys. It was indeed a
fun filled day, full of colour, enthusiasm and exuberance.
Teej Celebrations (Nursery & Prep)
August 02, 2019
Teej celebration is an yearly celebration that marks the advent of monsoon
and saawan. The festival of Teej is synonymous with swings, mehndi adorned
palms, flowers, bangles, bandhani dupattas and mouth watering ghevar. To
experience the spirit of saawan, our Dipsites celebrated Teej with great fervor.
The swings (saawan ke jhoole) of the school were decorated with floral garlands
for the occasion. The Little Wonders Wing wore the festive look. All the
students dressed up in traditional attire and celebrated the festival by singing
and dancing on the traditional music. Students relished traditional delicacies
which they had brought from home, specially ‘ghevar’. Mehndi and tattoo were
applied on the hands and arms of little girls and boys. Students enjoyed the
festivities along with their teachers.
