Green Soldiers on the March
(Nursery & Prep)
September, 2019
The month of September was dedicated to animals through
the theme- ANIMAL SAGA to help young learners of classes
Nursery and Prep to understand the importance and significance
of the animals. The students visited different corners created by
the teachers which helped them to distinguish between wild,
pet, domestic and aquatic animals. They even enjoyed watching
PPT of animals with their young ones followed by FUN RACE
– MEET THE YOUNG ONE and RAMP SHOW- ANIMAL
MEET, which helped them identify and remember variety of
animals from the animal kingdom. Adding to the joy of learning
was the story- THE GRUFFALO, by JULIA DONALDSON,
where children were thrilled to see the teachers enacting as
different animal characters and dancing on their favourite
animal song - BIG- BADI-BOOM-BOOM. The entire month
was a fun learning experience for the young learners, making
them more confident and creative in their approach.
Educational Trip to Traffic Park (Nursery & Prep)

‘If the people learn the traffic rules since childhood, it is much more probable that when they become adults, they will be responsible
and respectful civilians.’
To raise an awareness of traffic safety among our young Dipsities, an educational trip to Traffic Park,Sector 12,Faridabad was
organized. Students enjoyed hands –on experiences on the following- crossing on zebra lines, obeying traffic lights, reading
traffic signs and symbols. Students visited CNG Station and Petrol Pump. Security measures were discussed during boarding and
deboarding the bus that was parked in that area. They were also told about the challan which is to be paid by the person who
violates the traffic rules.
Celebrating National Festival Gandhi

The students watched a short documentary on Gandhi ji and were made
aware of his contribution to freedom struggle through emphasis on
Dandi march and Champaran Satyagraha. They also sang “Raghu Pati
Raghav” and experienced vital moment from life of Gandhi ji through a
power point presentation. followed by visit to the learning corner. They
enjoyed Spinning wheel activity and were amazed to see the different
articles (khadaau, enak , charkha etc.) displayed in the learning corner.
Our young Dipsites were also enlightened about some facts about Lal
Bahadur Shashtri ji, the second Prime Minister of India, whose date of
birth coincides with Bapuji.
