Annual Picnic @ Surajgarh Farms (II - III)
February 25, 2020
Play is our brain’s favourite way of learning and what better way to do it, than to go for an adventure-packed picnic with our
school friends and teachers. The school buses, fully packed with students and teachers headed for Surajgarh Farms, Gurugram-
India’s exotic heritage village filled with farm style activities, adventure, a rustic menu and much more. It was a happening place
lending access to a whole lot of unadulterated fun. The sun kissed lush green lands spread over 12 acres were waiting to welcome
everyone. As we entered, we all were served with breakfast. The next event was a magic show which all students looked forward
to. The most attractive activity of the picnic was the Zip line. Thereafter, the students went for a horse cart ride and bullock cart
ride followed by a camel ride which the students enjoyed a lot. Adventure seekers also delved in challenging activities like-Hamster
Wheel, Hippity Hope Race, Magical Maze, Commando Net, Tug of War, Burma Bridge and Commando Crawl. After a tiring
and fun packed morning we all headed for lunch. The next event was the DJ Dance. All students danced on the floor with great
energy on the peppy dance numbers. Everyone had a big smile on their faces indicating they had had a great fun. After all, good
times and crazy friends make the best memories!
Intra-Section English and Hindi Recitation Competition (Nursery - II)
“Poetry is thoughts that breathe and words that burn”
To enhance the public speaking and presentation skills of our students, Intra-Section English and Hindi Recitation Competitions
were organized. They provided an opportunity to the students to exhibit their talent and confidence. Students recited poems on
burning environmental issues such as Save Earth, Say No to Plastic etc and also on an array of topics such as the power of dreams,
nature, aspirations, teacher, unity in diversity, health etc. They presented their poems using a variety of props.
“IKEBANA”- The Flower Show (Nursery - IV)
The beauty of beautiful flowers and the eye-catching arrangements of plants
were just perfect for all of us to see what nature holds for us. Students were
asked to give any creative name to the flowers along with creative actions
which was a fun activity. Dipsites of Nursery- III enjoyed the nature walk
along with their class teacher and read the names both in English and Hindi.
On February 8,2020, parents visited the flower show. They enjoyed their
nature walk and really appreciated the arrangements and the beauty of
the different flowers and plants of our school. The message of ‘Say no to a
bouquet and Gift a plant’ a Crescento (succulent) was gifted in a decorative
pot to our loving Principal Ma’am and sweet Headmistress Ma’am.
