India On the Move (Nursery - II)
“If there is one place on the face of earth where all the dreams of living men have found a home from the very earliest days
when man began the dream of existence, it is India!”- Romaine Rolland
‘INDIA ON THE MOVE’- A Progressive and Collaborative India.
India’s vastness and rich heritage is impossible to understand in a single lifetime, but at DPSG Faridabad, it is believed that
impossible is just a word. India has the right to reclaim its place amongst the great nations summarizing and symbolizing
the spirit of humanity. To inculcate the spirit of being proud Indians in our little Dipsites of Prep special assembly was
organized under the theme- ‘India On The Move’.India has a myriad of landscapes, great heritage and culture. Under the
ongoing theme our young Dipsites were given knowledge of our beautiful motherland -India . Children came dressed up
in shades of the Tricolour, as their favourite national leaders and spoke 2-3 lines about them. Also children described about
the progressive India in scientific field by narrating lines on Chandrayan-II through working model. The smart Dipsites
exhibited the national symbols and national leaders through ramp walk. Flame of patriotism was ignited in the minds of
Dipsites through patriotic songs and rhymes. It was an overwhelming moment to see the children perform on the stage
with confidence and heads held high. The feeling of patriotism was in the air. This presentation was an attempt of India
as a progressive nation after 73rd year of freedom to recognize and reaffirm our pride as Indians. ‘India on the move’ is
closely linked with our ongoing program- ‘ Know Your Roots’. India is a conglomeration of myriad cultures .It is fervently
believed that if everyone moves forward together, then success takes care of itself. The proud young Dipsites presented a
scintillating day that showcased all of India in one single day, be it the rich culture and heritage ,the growing economy ,the
progress made in science and technology, India’s gift to mankind-Mindfulness..What a sight it was to see young and bright
faces speaking confidently. The event was concluded with the echoes of the National Anthem that reverberated with special
air of nationalism. Indeed, it was India at its progressive and collaborative best !!Our young Dipsites promised to carry
forward the rich legacy of their country and work hard for its prosperity and safety.
Pearls on Paper (Nursery - IV)
“The art of writing is the art of discovering what you believe.”
Handwriting is an essential skill. To harness this skill is as important as practicing reading. They both go hand-in-hand as it not
only contributes to reading fluency but also improves understanding.
In today’s world of digital shuffle, to emphasize the beauty of handwritten letters, English and Hindi handwriting activities were
organized to further blossom the love for good handwriting in our young Dipsites from Nursery to Class IV.
This played a vital role in developing their fine motor skills and teaching them the art of calligraphy. It also boosted their confidence
as it helped to activate the brain.
Students revelled in the joy of participating in English and Hindi Handwriting competitions and activities which aimed to inculcate
neat and legible handwriting and emphasized on presentation skills in terms of formation of letters, neatness, spacing between
words and usage of correct lines.
