Rakhi Celebration
         (Nursery & Prep)
         August 13, 2019

In order to emphasize the significance of
this festival and to strengthen the bond of
affinity amongst our little Dipsites, we at
         DPS Greater Faridabad celebrated Raksha
Bandhan for classes Nursery and Prep.
On this day, the girls tied a Rakhi on the
wrist of boy students, applied tilak on the
forehead and the boys in return offered them
         a chocolate/candy. Students enjoyed the
         festivity along with their teachers.

73rd Independence Day Celebration (Nursery & Prep)
             August 14, 2019
The little Dipsites came dressed up in shades of the Tricolour and M. P. Hall came alive with the exhilarating and patriotic
performances of our Dipsites who celebrated the essence of being an Indian. The day began with a Patriotic song and
the Citizen’s Pledge. The liitle Dipsites then presented a mesmerising Action song and everyone grooved to the rhythm.
The students dressed up as national leaders and performed a role play which impressed each and everyone witnessing
             it. The feeling of patriotism
was in the air. The programme
came to an end with an amazing
             Power Point presentation on
             National Symbols and Emblem
             and by sharing the significance
             of the Tricolour. The event
             was concluded with the echoes
             of the National Anthem that
             reverberated with a special air
             of nationalism. Our young
             Dipsites promised to carry
forward the rich legacy of their
country and work hard for its
             prosperity and safety.

The birthday of Lord Krishna was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm. Our young Dipsites came traditionally dressed
up as Kanha and Radhika. The event was inaugurated by worshipping Lord Krishna followed by the activity of Dahi-Handi.
The students were overjoyed when they broke the Dahi-Handi. The Dahi iHandi corner was based on the legend of Lord Krishna
stealing butter. It was a fun filled experience for the little Kanhas and Gwaalas who had a real time experience of being a ‘Maakhan
chor’.The Janamashtami celebrations concluded with the phenomenal ‘Maharaas’, wherein our little Dipsites danced on foot
         tapping Bhajans.
