                                                   May 13, 2019

“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I may remember. Involve me and I
                                                   learn.”
The Show and Tell Competition organized was a great learning experience
for all the listeners. Students prepared very innovative props like futuristic
cleaning vehicles; pollination drones etc and spoke very well on ‘How we can
keep our neighbourhood clean?’ They explained the 3 R’s – ‘Reduce, Recycle
                                                   and Reuse.’

         Lemonade Making Activity

         May 17, 2019
Lemonade is a classic summer drink. The young chefs of Class II enjoyed
making lemonade in the summer class party on the last day before the
summer break. They were excited to squeeze lemon into the chilled water,
mix it with sugar and salt. They had fun and relished each sip of lemonade
         with their friends and teacher.

                                            Collage Making Competition
                                            July 10, 2019
To enhance the innovative skills and explore the ingenuity of our Dipsites,
an Intra-Section Collage Making Competition was organized. It was a
stimulating medium where the students explored different countries and
enhanced their global learning. There was intense research work and analysis
performed by students from newspapers, magazines, internet etc. They
cleverly created various combinations of materials with great interest and
passion. In the process, they learnt about the heritage and culture of various
                                            countries around the world.

         Dots on Food Packets Activity
         July 31, 2019
The Class II Dipsites were taught how they could categorize different food
items by red, green or brown coloured dots on the food packets. Each child
was asked to bring two empty wrappers. Based on their understanding they
classified the food packets and pasted them on the chart under the categories
vegetarian, non vegetarian and eggetarian food products. They enjoyed the
activity thoroughly and learnt about the classification of food items in a fun
way and developed skills of close observation along with meticulous attention
         to detail.

Intra-Section Best Out of Waste Competition
                                              August 8, 2019
‘Best Out Of Waste’ is one such craft which follows the environmental friendly
principle and at the same time creates useful and picturesque objects out of waste
products. Little hands and imaginative minds came together in a creative burst
of energy to create products out of waste material. They prepared outstandingly
exuberant models such as seed rakhi, pencil holders, storage box, wall hangings
etc from different waste material. They used reusable and recyclable materials like
newspapers, shoe boxes, bangles, ice cream sticks and much more. It helped the
students to develop their fine motor skills and also encouraged them to use waste
material for making decorative and usable items.
