Fabric Classification Activity
August 9, 2019
Children learn best by doing. An interesting activity was done on natural and
man-made fabrics. Our young Dipsites bought small pieces of different fabrics
from their home. They had to identify and tell what kind of fabric it was and
place it on a chart paper which had two columns drawn on it viz. natural and
man- made. The students got a first-hand experience of recognizing a fabric
and differentiating it on the basis of its texture.
Bookmark Making Activity
August 14, 2019
Independence Day marks the day when the British rule ended in India.
Books give an individual freedom of thought and expression and a bookmark
enables a reader to easily return to the specific page of the book where it was
left. To integrate bookmark making with the patriotism, the Dipsites of Class
II enjoyed making bookmarks. They decorated the bookmark with beautiful
pictures and national symbols related to India drawn by them.

Diwali Card Making Activity
October 24, 2019
In order to instil festive spirit in our students, a Diwali Card Making Activity
had been organised. It was an amazing blend of origami, drawing and
colouring. The candle was made with the help of shiny colourful paper and
rest of the card was decorated by the cute drawings of our little ones. The
cards not only turned out to be beautiful but also our little Dipsites put their
heart and soul in writing lovely messages for their loving parents. They were
excited to present their masterpieces to their parents with a warm hug.

November 18, 2019
Listening is one skill that we all can get better at, to become better leaders, friends and
human beings. It is one of the most important skills vital in any context applied in
life. To develop the skill of listening, an Intra-Section Listen and Draw Competition
was conducted. The students listened to a short story twice, visualized and drew a
scene from the story using their own imagination. They were judged on the basis of
Overall Presentation, Neatness and Relevance to the story. The competition brought
out the talent to recognize, reflect and reproduce their actively listened to content.
