                                              STUDENT LED CONFERENCE
DPS Greater Faridabad successfully completed its Student Led
Conference (SLC) organized for students of Class X on July 13, 2019.
The SLC is an interaction of Parent-Student-Teacher, wherein the
student explains his/her work and progress to his/her parents and
                                              teacher.
SLC took off very well last year as a pilot project as students took
the onus for their performance and had clarity in the understanding
of various concepts. Students confidently articulated their goals
that they made in the month of May 2019. Further, they explained
the percentage of their goals they have achieved till July 2019 with
the help of the target board that was displayed in their classroom.
Students also shared their analysis of the Multiple Intelligence
Questionnaire by Howard Gardner and their individual graph of the
same. Parents were thrilled to see that their children were scoring
well in many other areas of intelligence like visual-spatial, body
kinesthetic, naturalistic intelligence etc. Parents felt that SLC was
a wonderful concept as children take accountability for academic
progress along with the targets they set for themselves. Parents
were impressed that their children were aware and working on
multiple domains and they assured their fullest support to their
