displayed Art work done by the students
representing and glorifying the rich folk art of India
in the form of paintings, relief, sculptures, craft work
etc. using Indian motifs under the leadership of Art
Department.
The showstopper was the display of creative artistic
work ‘Waste to Wonder’, using scrap made by
students in an output based workshop with well
known artist, Mr. Zakir Khan, whose work is displayed
at prominent locations in India, including the ‘Statue
Of Liberty’ at the Waste to Wonder Park near Sarai
Kale Khan, New Delhi, Museum of Modern Art, New
Delhi. Mr. Zakir specializes in art from scrap-metal,
plastic, stone (just about everything and anything).
