The stall on Science, Astronomy and Robotics, under
the leadership of Science Department showcased the
advancements made in the field of science, medical
sciences, and how nanotechnology, stem cells and
immunology has evolved in the country. India’s
contribution towards astronomy and space sciences, a
trip to the world of ISRO, an experience of a hydro rocket
launch by the Astronomy club in collaboration with Space
and conversation with a robot had the visitors in awe.
Mathematics Department presented Applied
Mathematics in their stall which gave a new dimension
to the way we look at Math. The fun filled mathematical
games, understanding mathematical structures,
demonstration of models and life size educational
games and models – all enthralled our visitors.
English Department presented a vast spectrum of India’s
beauty and passion with their stalls on Tourism, Media
Entertainment and Sports. Glimpses of the picturesque
North, the festive East during Durga Puja, the calm
beaches of Goa and the exquisite South India created
under one roof amalgamated the diversity into a unique
oneness and enticed many to plan their next vacations.
Media and Entertainment gave a kaleidoscopic tour
of Bollywood in recent times with live performances.
The stall on Sports highlighted not just the global
achievements of Indian sportspersons but impressively
presented a transition from Ancient sports (Chauper) to
Modern Sports (PUBG).
The IT Department celebrated the Digital India with
the transition of Old-Era to New Era technology such
as artificial intelligence and cloud computing. The
highlights of the stalls were the quiz corner and a
gaming zone along with interesting Mindbox projects
made by students.
Awareness on mental health, celebrating the success
of specially abled people, sensitizing people about
mental health issues and its importance was the motto
of the Psychology Department. Students also featured
a Nukkad Natak to create awareness.
We, the people of India and Transforming India in
Consonance with Nature were the themes showcased
under the leadership of Social Science Department.
In the stall ‘We, The People of India’, the crucial areas
were highlighted in which our country has steered a
course of growth and development. In consonance
with nature focused on sustainability which has always
been an inherent character of Indian socio-cultural and
economic life.
Heritage of India, Celebrating Gandhi’s 150th Birth
Anniversary, under leadership of Hindi Department,
showcased the rich cultural heritage of India and the
various facets of Mahatma Gandhi’s life.
Globe at my Ground, an ISA project highlighting
Collaboration of India with 10 different countries was
under the leadership of French and German Department.
