Today due to high internet penetration, cybersecurity is one of the biggest needs of the world. Not only the public and private sector but also the citizens should be aware of how to stay safe on the net.

IT Club of DPS Greater Faridabad organized a 2-Day workshop on 1st and 3rd June 2021 that covered the essential aspects of staying safe over the internet. The workshop was conducted by student trainers Rishabh Jain and Ambica Pradhan with their mentor Ms Reshu Ganjoo. The students shared and reflected on the incidents that they have faced in daily use of the internet and other technologies. The trainers shared the best practices and provided solutions and tips for being a netizen.

• Appropriate use of technology
• Case studies
• Encryption and decryption
• Activities like Treasure Hunt, Poster, video and comic designing on creating awareness on cyber security.
