‘Learning to Serve’-
Book Donation Drive
‘We dream of a world where
every child can hold a book,
read it and feel empowered’.
We all would agree that
literacy level and educational
attainment are important
determinants of development.
It’s also true that books are still
a distant dream for many of
the underprivileged children.
This year, our School Interact
Club, AGRANI, joined hands with
‘Share a Book India Association’,
a non-profit organization
working towards attainment of
quality education, to organize
a ‘Book Donation Drive’ in
our school on October 19, 2019.
Dipsites, once again exhibited their
‘Spirit of Giving’, donating huge
number of books with a range of
themes - stories, poems, novels,
academic etc. for the cause.
These books were then sent to
hundreds of village children
studying across India with few
means through the partner NGO.
Our hearty gratitude to the
parent community who extend a
wholehearted support in all our
endeavors, always.
Together, we shall make a
difference!!!

A Seminar
on Guru Nanak Sahib
at Gurudwara
Sri Guru Singh Sabha
‘God is within all of us
and by serving humanity
one serves God’.
The evening of first day
of December 2019 was
spent by our Dipsites living
by their motto, ‘Service Before
Self’. Besides, attending a seminar
titled, Guru Nanak Sahib-The
Guide to Happy, Liberal and
Prosperous Life, a group of
more than 25 student members of
school Interact Club, AGRANI,
volunteered in serving of langar
(kar-sewa or selfless service of
others) to devotees at Gurudwara
Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Sector–15,
Faridabad. The occasion saw
our Interactors ushering the
devotees, laying out chairs for
them, serving refreshments and
langar and washing utensils in the
Gurudwara. Joy of serving is indeed
the highest form of feeling!!
Donation of Warm
Clothes
‘Every act of charity, how so
ever small it is, is a tangible
manifestation of God’s love for
his creation’.
With this strong conviction,
this winter, our school Interact
Club, AGRANI and the team of
‘Happytude Together’ joined
hands to collect contributions
for the disadvantaged classes of
our community. On an appeal of
Shirdi Sai Baba Temple Society,
an NGO based in Sector 86,
Faridabad, our Dipsites collected
a hearty contribution of blankets,
bed sheets, winter clothing, utensils,
toys, shoes and other essential
items for donating to the poor.
We are proud of our socially
conscious parents who have always
supported and encouraged our
Dipsites for such acts of selflessness.
With the Lord's blessings, we shall
continue the good work!!!
