to Oman for about 5 days. I November 2019. The three day programme (20 - 22 November, 2019)

was on cloud nine when I got included a series of events and competitions wherein our school
to know that I was selected students participated enthusiastically. The first day of the exhibition
among participants all over was followed by painting competition where Richard Adolphos

throughout the journey. We on the vision, aim, launching vehicles, development programmes –
arrived late night. I had a lot of one of them being Human Space Flight by 2022. The session was
fun with my friends on the ferry, followed by the exhibition portraying the Indian Space Ports, Several
in the room, travelling in the Models of Indian Satellites and launched Vehicles. The exhibition gave

We also went on the Masirah the world renowned Space Programmes. The exhibition aimed to
Island. Our main objective was encourage students towards space technology and guide them to
to see the eclipse. We did many build their career in space. It gave a glistening opportunity to our
experiments during the eclipse young dipsites to interact with eminent space scientists.
and also live telecasted the It was indeed a knowledgeable and fun filled clad journey for the

         of 'Heliodyssey'. My experiment
was to measure the wind speed
during the eclipse. It was a
         lifetime opportunity to watch
an Annular solar eclipse. On the
last day we went to many places
such as The Sultan's palace, The
         Opera House, The state market
of Muscat (The capital city of
Oman) and visited many malls. I
         also bought some artifacts and
a telescope like the one used
by sailors in earlier times. I also
         learned more about eclipses and
other instruments. I am short of
words to tell how amazing and
         extraordinary the trip and the
eclipse was! I want to thank our
         Principal Ma’am, Geetika Ma’am
and SPACE team for giving this
         opportunity. I will remember this
         trip forever.
