OVERNIGHT SKY OBSERVATION CAMP A billion stars go
Delhi Public School, Greater Faridabad organized an overnight sky spinning through
observation camp in association with Space for Astronomy Club the night,
members from 23 - 24 October, 2019 in Sariska, Rajasthan.
This camp was joined by a group of 20 students from Classes V to VIII blazing high above
who were escorted by two teachers from the school. your head.
The edufun journey commenced at 8:30 am on Wednesday, October But in you is the

At around 4:30pm, we proceeded for the site tour. In the evening,
students enjoyed their evening snacks while watching the cultural
programme.
Following five sessions were conducted for the students: Orientation to
Night Sky, Night sky through maps, Constellation Hunting, Telescope
Handling and Astro Photography.
Session ended after midnight at around 2:30 am and students
proceeded to their camps.
Happiness and the excitement on the faces of children was easily
witnessed as they saw what they have been reading in the books so
far.
After having a fun filled day, we started our journey back from the
camp at 6:30 am on October 24, 2019.
On the way back, students were discussing and sharing their
experience with joy and fun.
We reached our school back at 1:30 pm.
It was a memorable trip for the space enthusiasts.
