Keeping the above thought in mind, DPSGF celebrated its 8th birthday on Thursday, April 22, 2021 as ‘Our Gratitude and Hope Day’. The Dipsites of Class-1 prayed for the well-being of the entire human-kind. The day began with an interactive session where the problems faced by the people during the pandemic were discussed. Students collectively pondered over the countless blessings bestowed on us by the God and appreciated them with gratitude in their heart. A congratulatory message on school’s birthday was shared by our loving Principal Ma’am Ms. Surjeet Khanna, through a video played in the online class. Students were encouraged to pen down their thoughts about the things they value and are grateful for. To add on to the excitement, an ‘Online Non–Flame Cooking Activity’ was organized wherein our young chefs prepared mouth-watering ‘Cake Pudding’ using crumbled cake slices, assorted fruits, chocolate syrup, and colourful gems. They relished the pudding, along with their family. The activity enabled students to enhance their culinary skills and brought a smile to their faces. It was indeed a memorable day for students and teachers.
