“Music is the rhythm of life, and songs have a way of inspiring us every moment, whether we’re basking in
joy or navigating through sorrow. They have the power to elevate our mood, boost our dopamine, and even
stimulate our cortisol levels.
For me, one song that resonates deeply is ‘Rise Up’ by Andra Day. Its soul-stirring melody and empowering
lyrics embody my life’s journey.
Since childhood, I’ve learned to embrace life’s rollercoaster, finding inspiration in quotes like ‘every dark cloud
has a silver lining’ and ‘I stopped crying over my torn shoes until I saw a man without feet.’ This mindset has
guided me through challenges, helping me stay true to my values.
With determination and a positive mindset, I’ve forged my path, believing that hard work and optimism can
overcome any obstacle. ‘Rise Up’ by Andra Day is a poignant reflection of my journey, echoing my commitment
to ethics, positivity, and uplifting self and others.
As a mentor, guide, mother, and woman, this song inspires me to overcome adversity, guide the lost, and make
a lasting impact. It reminds me that I am tougher than life’s challenges, and with the universe’s energy, I can
overcome anything.
I am grateful for the people around me who help me stay accountable and guide others. ‘Rise Up’ resonates
with my spirit of
perseverance, fueling my passion to create a meaningful impact on those around me. It is more than an anthem
- it is a celebration of our inner power to rise above, manifest our dreams, and live a life of purpose and impact.”
To conclude,
“And I’ll rise up
I’ll rise like the day
I’ll rise up
I’ll rise unafraid
I’ll rise up
And I’ll do it a thousand times again
And I’ll rise up
High like the waves
I’ll rise up
In spite of the ache
I’ll rise up
And I’ll do it a thousand times again”.
