“The teacher who is indeed wise does not bid you to enter the house of his wisdom but rather leads you to the threshold of your mind.” – Khalil Gibran

Every Year, on 5th of September, the bond between learners and educators is lovingly celebrated all around the country. This year too undeterred by the pandemic, students of class III, DPS Greater Faridabad, virtually paid an ode to this noble profession through an assortment of activities to honour their teachers on 3rdSeptember ,2021.

The celebrations began with a short yet informative video on the significance of the day. Students greatly enjoyed the video, which also enhanced their general knowledge. Students also gained insight into the life of Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, an educator of the highest repute, whose birthday has been adapted as Teacher’s Day.

The most heart-warming part of the celebration was when the little ones opened their hearts to exhibit the adoration that they feel for their teachers through various live performances. While some presented songs, dance and short enactments, others chose the medium of poetry. Whatever the medium, the emotions expressed were pious and it was indeed an emotional moment for the teachers to see and feel the over whelming love of the little ones.

The event culminated with students displaying their token of love that they fondly designed for their teachers. The myriad hues of greeting cards and backdrops as well as PowerPoint slides made by students were truly humbling for the teachers.

It was indeed a precious day for every teacher as well as the students.
