The Tuesday Talk with Budding Authors, organised at DPS ,Greater Faridabad on 18th November 2025 as part of the Reader’s Den Club initiative, provided students with an enriching literary experience. The session was hosted by Kanira Sethi of Class VIII A, who engaged in an insightful conversation with young author Samaira, the writer of “Lessons from a Wagging Tail.”Kanira began by warmly welcoming Samaira and inviting her to introduce herself and her book. The interaction then moved into a structured set of questions. Samaira shared what inspired her to write the book and spoke about the important life lessons that dogs teach us ,such as loyalty, joy, kindness, and living wholeheartedly. She also discussed her writing process, explaining whether she follows a routine or writes whenever inspiration strikes. Samaira further spoke about balancing her studies with her passion for writing and described the challenges she faced as a young author, including staying motivated and overcoming writer’s block. A lively rapid-fire round added energy to the session. Samaira responded quickly to fun questions . Her spontaneous answers helped the audience understand her personal style as a writer. The session concluded with Samaira sharing an encouraging message for budding authors, motivating them to stay curious, write fearlessly, and believe in their creative voice. Overall, the event was inspiring, interactive, and thoughtfully conducted. It successfully fulfilled the Reader’s Den Club’s aim of nurturing a love for reading and writing among students.
