Seven hundred Class I and II Dipsites of the Little Wonders Wing
of DPS Greater Faridabad staged their Annual Cultural presentation
WE ARE ALL MAGICIANS with unprecedented fanfare at the school
premises.
The celebration was graced by the inspiring presence of the honourable
Chief Guest, Dr. Renu Gulati, Associate Professor, DU (Department
of Child Development) accompanied by Mr. Rohit Jainendra Jain,
Pro-Vice Chairman, DPS Greater Faridabad along with Mrs. Shail
Bala Jain and family, Members of the Managing Committee of DPS
Greater Faridabad School, distinguished dignitaries, academicians,
bureaucrats, grandparents and parents. The chief guest was given a
floral welcome as she inaugurated the programme.
The show began with our gracious Principal, Ms. Surjeet Khanna,
extending a warm welcome to the august gathering. She urged the
beholders to suspend the reality of our present world and see the
world from the unbiased and truthful eyes of the children as they
showcase their version of the perfect world.
The programme proceeded with the lighting of the lamp by the
dignitaries and the welcome of the august gathering by our irresistibly
charismatic numerouno Principal, Ms. Surjeet Khanna. Up next, was
the melodious choir on Kindness.
The spectacular and fascinating journey with our quintessential
mascots ushered the audience into a world where kindness and
humanity reign supreme.
The spectators travelled to Fantastical Fairyland in the Fairy Dance,
celebrated ISRO’s victorious launch of Chandrayaan-2 through the
Space Dance, relished the bounties of nature and pledged to save
the earth against the adverse effects of global warming with the
intriguing performances. With the power of the magic paintbrush
our young Dipsites crushed all evils, leaving the audience ecstatic,
unfurling the power of thoughts and oneness and brightening our
world with positivity and happiness.
The school was decorated elegantly. A grand stage was set up
with a professional light and sound system for special effects. The
intricately worked out soundtrack, music, lights, costumes props
and expressions added glamour to their effervescent performances.
The show culminated with the grand finale celebration followed by
the choir ‘We Are The World’. It was indeed a spectacular display of
talent and fervour.
After a long and tiresome one and half month of planning,
brainstorming, blueprinting, detailing and practicing the taste of
our enduring effort was sweet and enthralling for all. Lastly, the
honourable Chief Guest, Dr. Renu Gulati congratulated the little
Dipsites for their marvellous performance and complimented them
for their diligent endeavours. She added that such events are a
must as they seek to strengthen the enduring humane values of
compassion and selflessness and instill gratitude in our Millennials.
