CHILD LABOUR The little souls are so innocent,
they also need a mental development.
The little hands work so hard, They have to work all day,
some weave and some work as guard. to earn their daily pay.

they get knowledge and learn the rules.
They live in factories day and night, They have to work all day,
no one knows these children’s plight. to earn their daily pay.

if you do, it would be a favour.
Food and water are barely given to them, Now, there is no more mournful sighs,
please stop, as each one is a precious gem. with happy faces and sparkling eyes.

I have made friends,
talking all about trends.
Like brothers they are,
with enemies so far.
Our coordination among girls and boys,
gave us happiness and all joys.
The more time we together spent,
further our friendship did cement.
Like a lion has a habit of roaring, My Country, My Pride
some of the classes were boring.
When teachers got late for the class, The nation where mighty rivers like the Ganges flow,
we were found outside the door-glass. and the crown of Himalayas show.
Her feet washed by the Indian Ocean,
My mischievous habit did fade, and its people filled with love and devotion.
and a new man was made.
It was hard to get all A’s, My country is the land with no discrimination,
but I worked hard for the SA’s. unity, the power strengthens my nation.
A land of philosophy and sacred lore,
For every child it is essential, and the vedic seers and the vedic core.
to work with his full potential.
Never shirk work and just play, The inventor of zero,
apart from work little play and little sway. born on this sacred land.
To the world he was a hero,
The time flew by quickly, as his invention was grand.
the teachers will be loved thickly.
I will miss the golden time, Our country is beautiful,
when I was told by my teacher how to rhyme. with its rich traditions bountiful.
The people are from different religions,
The teacher in our school you are restless, still secular and no caste divisions.
the time we spent together is priceless.
But in the end we start the next phase, Let us make our country proud, always,
in our new class we will truly amaze. so that, it is forever appreciated and praised.
