 To instill the spirit of patriotism and brotherhood in our young Dipsites, DPS Greater Faridabad conducted an ‘Online Fancy Dress Activity’ on Monday, August 23^rd and Tuesday, August 24, 2021 for the Dipsites of Class I. The purpose of conducting the activity was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the students by giving them an opportunity to speak in front of their own classmates.

The young orators gave a descriptive narration about different themes- My Favourite Indian Icon and My Favourite National Symbol. The extravagant props used, spoke volumes about their chosen topics. The participants portrayed characters like-Rani Laxmi Bai, Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Swami Vivekananda, Royal Bengal Tiger, etc and added a lot of information to the knowledge bank of their counterparts in the audience. The students were dressed in vibrant costumes and spoke confidently with full galore and pride. The effort and hard work of children and the unconditional support of the parents was highly commendable in making this event interesting and entertaining. The activity proved to be a great learning experience for the students and gave them a platform to explore their hidden talent. The performance of the participants was applauded by awarding them e-badges and e-certificates.
