KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS reminds us of the sacrifices of our valiant soldiers- our heroes, who suffered harsh consequences unflinchingly during the Kargil war. This makes us marvel at them.

We at DPS, Greater Faridabad seized this opportunity to reminisce about the bygone days and salute the Kargil Martyrs who not only suffered & struggled during the Kargil war but dedicated their whole life to the service of this great nation. The middle school celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas on 27th July with great patriotic zest and fervour. Students paid their heartfelt tribute to our soldiers. Students were shown an informative video and some emotional and inspirational glimpses from the war of Kargil and many great personalities who valiantly fought for the PEACE those we rightly possess today!! Few students enlightened us with their notion on the significance of the day. The assembly culminated with the soulful rendition of Vande Matram. Some students showcased their distinctive talent by playing the same on their synthesizer while others sang.

The performances filled our heart with immense pride, love and respect for our motherland. The session came to an end with a positive hope of creating an incredible and prosperous India ahead, making it a better place to live in.
