The importance of extracurricular activities in a student’s all-round development was on full display at DPSGF’s InterSection Swimming Meet, held on September 3, 2024. The event showcased the school’s commitment to nurturing young talent, promoting physical fitness, camaraderie, and healthy competition.

Prior to the meet, students underwent swimming lessons and practiced their skills, eagerly preparing for their moment to shine. The event commenced with the freestyle stroke, setting the tone for an exciting experience. Our Junior Sports Captain, Moreen Sharma, and Junior Sports Vice Captain, Kiaan Kwatra, welcomed our Respected Headmistress, Ms. Ritu Jain, who graciously presided over the event.

The meet featured various swimming events, including Spider Swim, Rocket Swim, and freestyle stroke, with each section competing against one another. The atmosphere was electric, with the pool becoming a vibrant display of youthful energy and determination.

The enthusiastic cheers and applause created a supportive atmosphere, making the experience truly unforgettable. The beaming smiles and sense of achievement on the faces of the little swimmers were heartwarming moments.

To recognize their efforts and achievements, Headmistress Ms. Ritu Jain ma’am presented each participant with a merit certificate, celebrating their success. This event provided a valuable platform for young swimmers to showcase their talent, build confidence, and leave a lasting impact on the entire school community.”
