The Readers Den Club at DPS Greater Faridabad organized a captivating session of “Friday Folk Time” on February 9, 2024. This special session featured a compelling narrative titled “The Awaited King,” a Slavic folk tale, presented by four eloquent narrators from Class VII-D: Laavanya Gupta, Varalika Tiwari, Shrishti Goel, and Khushi Khatri.The audience was thoroughly enthralled by the exceptional storytelling skills and seamless coordination among the narrators. The tale conveyed the  moral message, emphasizing the importance of helping others and avoiding greed. The session provided an enriching experience, showcasing the club’s dedication to promoting literature and fostering a love for storytelling among students. Such initiatives not only entertain but also educate, instilling valuable life lessons in an engaging manner.Following the storytelling, an engaging question and answer round took place, adding an interactive element to the session. Surprise gifts were awarded to the winners, adding to the excitement and participation. As a token of appreciation, all the narrators were presented  bookmarks at the conclusion of the session, symbolizing the club’s gratitude for their contribution. The session of “Friday Folk Tale” was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on all the students.
