French language is one of the most popular languages in the world which is not only recognized by the United Nations but it is also most sought after foreign language in terms of higher studies and job opportunities. Learning French is equally intrinsic to the expression of culture.

In keeping up this ethos, a special assembly was conducted by the students of grade IV-XI at DPS Greater Faridabad on Thursday, 14 July,2022.The celebration of ‘La fête nationale ‘began with the thought of the day ( La pensée du jour). Few melodious and peppy songs were presented by our French learners. A short skit based on The Golden Flowers was staged by senior students. The dialogue delivery in French and the acting prowess of the students were amazing.

The celebration was full of French songs, rhymes, dances etc. 

Principal Ms. Surjeet Khanna emphasized the importance of learning French and appreciated the efforts of the students and French department teachers.
