On July 8, 2023, the Liferarian Association, in collaboration with Shiv Nadar School, organized the 1st Liferarian Conclave on the theme of “Lifelong Learning Through Enquiry and Empathy” at Shiv Nadar School in Noida. The event commenced with a lamp lighting ceremony and featured Colonel Gopal Karunakaran’s captivating keynote address. The conclave comprised four sessions, each offering a selection of four workshops, from which participants could choose one in every session.

The following workshops were attended by our Librarian Ms Mamta Deshwal. The workshops were truly remarkable, and they included:

1. Empowering Your Library with Technology and Social Media by Ms. Methily and Ms. Gizelle.
2. Enhancing Learning, Inspiring Readership, and Empowering Learners through Library Activities by Ms. Babusha and Ms. Monica.
3. Engaging 21st Century Learners in Our Libraries by Solomon Raja and Mr. Abraar Ahmed.
4. Developing an Inclusive Library by Preeti Sharma.

The conclave provided a platform for 68 librarians from different schools to come together. Every workshop offered a transformative experience, empowering participants and facilitating continuous learning. The insightful discussions during the conclave enhanced knowledge and capacity, leaving the librarians with an incredible and unforgettable experience.
