On 10^th June, 2021, DPS Greater Faridabad, in collaboration with Books n Beyond, organized an enriching session with the renowned authoress, Ms. Lavanya Karthik for classes V-VIII.  The authoress motivated the Dipsites to put their thoughts in words as well as depict them through pictures.  She through an activity taught them how to give expression to the drawn figures and design their own comic strips.  She transported everyone to the land of ‘Ninja Nani’ her hot selling series. Ms Lavanya Karthik engrossed the audience by giving them situations/blank comic bubbles to build on the stories and comic strips.  Dipsites zealously came up with beautiful plots for the same.  The enthusiasm among the Dipsites spoke volumes about the interest it had generated among them.  The authoress also gave the students tips on how to pen down their ideas.  She encouraged them to explore their unique expressiveness and ability to communicate through thoughts and feelings.

The authoress, Ms Lavanya Karthik shared her personal experiences, ideas and few inspiring moments of her life with the audience.  The inquisitive students were too excited to ask questions to the author that made the whole environment quite lively and joyful.

The session was attended by our Pro VC Mr Rohit Jainendra Jain, Headmistress Mrs Sanjana Mahajan teachers and students.

Mr Rohit Jainendra Jain appreciated the conduction of the session and asked the creator of ‘Ninja Nani’ to create another super power character that can relieve our planet from the deadly Corona Virus. 

The session ended with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms Nysa Mishra from VIII C.
