Earth day is an annual event celebrated around the world on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. With an aim to raise awareness about the need to save our planet,DPS Greater Faridabad celebrated Earth Day for the little Dipsites of classes Nursery and Prep on Wednesday, April 22, 2020.

It was a very unique celebration as the teachers and students celebrated this special day over the online session with full enthusiasm. The students learnt the importance of our natural resources and promised to save water, trees, energy and use them judiciously. Our little munchkins of class Nursery made a paper bag using newspaper to discourage the use of plastic bags. The young learners of class Prep made a splendid craft to mark the occasion. They also learnt waste management by segregating the bio and non-biodegradable wastes in an innovative way. Our little Dipsites were allocated tasks such as watering the plants, making a bird feeder and throwing the trash in the dustbin to be brought into practice. They were motivated and appreciated for their efforts by the teachers.

It was a great day to showcase environmental education and highlight the efforts to save our resources.
