A special assembly was conducted on October 26, 2023, by the students of Pre- Nursery to class IV to celebrate one such rare and precious diamond, Ms. Surjeet Khanna, the founder Principal of DPS Greater Faridabad.

Her contributions towards the decade long miraculous journey of DPS Greater Faridabad are numerous and commendable which can never be summarized in words.

The assembly began with the invocation of God almighty. Through a pious lamp lighting ceremony, we prayed to the lord to give us strength to continue our journey, following in her footsteps, followed by a melodious presentation by the staff members. ‘Beholden Hearts’, a heart-warming presentation by students of class IV, where they poured out their hearts about their adulation towards their beloved Principal ma’am, struck a chord with all present and left everyone mesmerized. It was endearing to see the entire audience sway their hands as a gesture of their affection for ma’am. The assembly aptly culminated with a foot tapping dance rhapsody presented by students of the entire junior wing.

The Principal, Ms. Surjeet Khanna was absolutely overwhelmed by all the love showered on her by the little ones. In her address to the assembly, she inspired all to always face the sun and keep walking the path of righteousness. She urged the students and staff to progressively work towards keeping the banner of DPS Greater Faridabad, always flying high. Ma’am chose to express her devotion to all her beloved Dipsites by giving a high five to each one of them, a gesture, which would forever be cherished by all the students.
