“Ruk Jaan Nahi Tu Kahi Haar Ke Kanto Pe Chal Ke Milenge Saaye Bahar Ke” has been
a lifelong source of strength, guiding me through some of the most challenging times.
Growing up without my father for 12 years, as he served in the Indian Air Force, was
tough. My mother often sang this song, instilling in me the importance of perseverance.
This song became a beacon of hope, teaching me resilience at a young age.
Just a year and a half into my marriage, my husband had a severe accident that left him
bedridden for three years. The weight of caring for him, our children, and my in-laws felt
overwhelming, but this song reminded me to keep going, giving me the courage to face
each day.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we faced significant financial and emotional challenges,
but this song reignited my determination, helping me navigate the uncertainty.
Losing my mother in 2022 was devastating. She was my greatest inspiration. This song
helped me carry on, teaching me to support my family as she did.
Today, as I balance the pressures of raising children, caring for elderly in-laws, and
managing my profession, this song rejuvenates me whenever I feel overwhelmed,
reminding me of my strength and resilience.
Now, I share this song with my children as they face their own challenges, teaching them
that setbacks are part of the journey, and persistence will lead to success.
This song is more than just music to me; it is a life mantra. It has been my companion
through life’s ups and downs, teaching me that no matter how tough the road gets, giving
up is never an option.
