Let’s salute the nation on 75^th Independence Day.

 An aura of purity, selfless love and devotion for the country can be felt by just hearing these lines. To instill the feeling of love and respect for the country in our young Dipsites and help them know the importance of patriotism, sacrifices of our leaders, freedom fighters and soldiers, we at DPS Greater Faridabad celebrated India’s 75^th Independence Day with pomp and gaiety. A week-long online celebration was held from August 6^th-August 15^th, 2021.  The patriotic mood was kept alive through various power packed activities.

The celebration commenced with the Flag Making Activity held on August 6, 2021. It helped the students understand the significance of Tri-colour and the Ashoka Chakra in our National Flag. It was followed by a Tri-colour Badge Making Activity on August 12,2021, which reflected the creative efforts made by the students. To exhibit their culinary skills,flameless cooking was organized on August 13, 2021 and was thoroughly loved and enjoyed by all. Mouthwatering Tri-colour Chaat was made with the aim to help them understand the importance of eating healthy salads and adding colours to their plate. The wholehearted participation of our Dipsites and their family members clearly showcased their utmost fervour, zest and spirit of patriotism for India. This75th Independence Day Celebration provided an opportunity to our Dipsites to celebrate this pious day virtually and create a memory to be cherished for life time.
