India, the land of cultural diversity and the largest democracy in the world is known
for its indigenous culture and traditions. It is a close knit family of diverse socio-
economic roots held together with the love for mother india. India’s progress over
the past 70 years has been quite phenomenal. India has really emerged as a dynamic,
influential country. It’s been one of the world’s fastest growing economies, the credit
for which goes to our deep, strong roots and talented Indian youth proving their
mettle in every task they take in hand.

The theme for this year’s MOSAIC ‘INDIA ON THE MOVE’ is indeed a tribute to every
INDIAN in us with the sole aim of keeping the spirit going. Throughout the year, we
have tried to bring out the best of INDIA through our holiday homework, Annual
Production, ‘India on the Move’ and Republic Day celebrations to name a few. We
strongly believe in nurturing a respect for our motherland along with bridging the
gap between our indigenous traditions and upholding the integrity of today’s fast
moving digital India.

Every page of our magazine, showcases the effort of the DPS Greater Faridabad
family towards portraying different shades of the steady progress and growth of
India through the thoughts and words of our school fraternity.
