“The Beatles” were a British Rock Band from the 1960’s. It consisted of 4 renowned members – John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr (Richard Starkey).
John and Paul did most of the singing and songwriting. Moreover, they played Rhythm Guitar and Bass Guitar respectively. Paul even played Piano in several hit songs like “Hey Jude” and “Let it be”.
George was the Lead Guitarist, but wrote and sang a few songs like “Here comes the Sun” and “Something”. He even played Sitar in the song “Norwegian Wood”.
Finally, Ringo played drums but rarely did any singing or songwriting.
They recorded 12 studio albums from 1962 to 1969. Their most popular songs include “Let it be, “Hey Jude”, “Here Comes the Sun”, “Help!” and many more.
They were among the most, if not the most influential people in the world of all time and the most popular musicians. They still inspire millions. I was born 60 years after they got separated but even then they had a big impact on me.
