A song that I deeply relate to is “Choti Si Asha” from the movie *Roja* (1992), sung by
Hariharan and Minmini. This song beautifully captures the essence of hope, dreams, and
the simple joys of life, which I find very meaningful both personally and in my role as an
educator.
The lyrics talk about having small hopes and dreams, finding happiness in the little things,
and keeping a positive outlook on life. As a teacher, I believe that instilling hope and
positivity in my students is one of the most important things I can do. The line “Choti si
asha, mann mein hain vishwas, poori ho apni yeh aasha” reflects the belief that with a
little bit of hope and confidence, we can achieve our dreams, no matter how big or small
they are.

What makes this song special to me is its ability to uplift and inspire. It reminds me of the
importance of nurturing the dreams of my students, encouraging them to stay positive,
and helping them believe that they can achieve anything they set their minds to. Whether
it’s guiding them through their studies or supporting them in their personal growth, “Choti
Si Asha” serves as a reminder of the impact that hope and encouragement can have on a
young mind.
