Delhi Public School , Greater Faridabad truly understands the magic of collaborative learning. It is the meaningful gives and talks among educators and learners that transform education into something to be cherished lifelong. With this thought we have  embarked upon “ Online Learning Collab” Series to provide an opportunity to our Grade 10 and 12 students to benefit from the knowledge and expertise of educators across the country.

The first session in this series was  with eminent Geography subject matter expert and CBSE Resource Perason, Mr. Pushpendra Singhon the topic “Geography Preparation: CBSE 2024.” The session was held on Jan 6^th 2024 for the Geography students of Grade XII. It was coordinated by Ms. Kavita Saxena, Deptt. of Geography, under the guidance of the Principal Ms. Bindu Sharma.

Mr. Singh conducted an educational, informative and enriching session . He started with the Practical component in Geography, emphasizing on important topics. The practical insights he shared were particularly insightful. This was followed by discussion on  chapters from NCERT textbooks at length covering competency-based questions, passage-based, short and long answer questions.

The entire session was very interactive and the students thoroughly enjoyed it. The speaker used various examples from the textbook to explain the concepts and highlighted the skills (map reading/labeling/ diagrams) that the students must acquire to become successful in board exams. This was followed by a question-answer session where the students were able to clear their doubts and overcome their misconceptions about certain topics. It was truly an enlightening and informative session which was well appreciated by the attendees. 

The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms.Kavita Saxena.
