Marking World Mental Health Day 2024, the GRASP Team proudly launched Raahi, a weekly support group that brings students together to talk, listen, and navigate their emotional journeys with hope and connection.

What is Raahi?

Raahi: Conversations of Hope is a safe and supportive space for students in Classes VIII–XII to come together in small groups and share their experiences—academically, emotionally, and socially. It is built on the belief that young people flourish when they feel heard, understood, and connected.

The name “Raahi”, meaning traveler or guide, symbolizes the journey each adolescent undertakes. Through Raahi, students learn to walk this journey with resilience, companionship, and hope.

Why We Created Raahi?

In today’s fast-paced world, young people often struggle silently with stress, pressure, and loneliness. Meaningful, face-to-face conversations about mental health are becoming rare.

Raahi bridges this gap by offering:
•A compassionate space for real conversations
•Opportunities for students to express themselves openly
•Guided discussions that normalize emotions and challenges
•A platform to build peer support and reduce feelings of isolation

Our Vision

Raahi aims to create a community of young individuals who feel empowered to seek help, support one another, and understand their own emotional world with clarity and compassion.

It is not just a support group – it is a movement towards openness, hope, and well-being in young people’s lives.
