Spring is the season in which the nature revives and reinvigorates itself. New seedlings sprout out of the ground and the flowers begin to bloom, spreading their fragrance like new hopes & possibilities. What a perfect time to hold one of the most awaited events of DPS Greater Faridabad – ‘Ikebana – The Flower Show’.

The Flower show was gracefully inaugurated by our vibrant and ever inspiring Principal ma’am Ms. Surjeet Khanna on Feb 2, 2023 with the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Our Togetherness Park along with the gardens of DPS Greater Faridabad, were blooming and blossoming with bright, vibrant & colourful flowers, greenery of herbs and shrubs all around giving the whole place the look of a paradise on Earth. The buzzing of bees and fluttering of butterflies added grace to the already beautiful sight.

The little Dipsites of classes Pre – Nursery to Class 3 were invited to witness its beauty and alongside learn amazing facts about various flowers, herbs, shrubs, medicinal plants and decorative plants around them. An activity corner was set up to encourage young minds to give a creative expression to their feelings of joy in being so close to Mother Nature. Dipsites got an opportunity to draw & colour the flowers they like or take a walk in the garden, explore and share their observations. They enjoyed playing quiz as well. To capture the beautiful memories of our Dipsites enjoying their time in the lap of Mother Nature, a selfie corner was also set up where they made precious memories with their teachers and peers. It was truly mesmerizing to spend time so close to nature, admiring its beauty, showing gratitude and committing ourselves to give back to Mother Nature in our own special way. The Flower Show was open to parents during PTM on Feb 4, 2023 and it was admired and appreciated by all. The Flower Show ended with an inspiring message – “ Let Your Dreams Blossom Just Like Flowers.”
