The Readers’ Den Club of DPS Greater Faridabad continues to inspire and ignite young minds through its weekly storytelling initiative, Fabulous Friday Tales. On 9th May 2025, the Senior Library came alive with another heartwarming and motivational session attended by enthusiastic young Dipsites.This week’s tale was titled “Mukti – A Journey of Perseverance”, and it was beautifully narrated by Aaradhya and Arohi,two talented students of Class VI-C. With confident voices and expressive storytelling, the narrators captivated their peers, transporting them into the world of Mukti—a girl from a modest background in a remote village.The story traced the emotional and challenging journey of Mukti, whose aspirations soared beyond her circumstances. Despite societal pressure, financial limitations, and initial failures, Mukti remained resolute in her dream of becoming an IAS officer. Her unwavering determination and self-belief saw her through multiple attempts at the UPSC examination. The young audience listened in rapt attention, inspired by Mukti’s resilience and courage. The storytelling session concluded with an impactful moral: “Failure is the proof that you’ve tried.” This simple yet profound message reminded every listener that setbacks are stepping stones to success and that consistent effort and belief in oneself can lead to the realization of even the most ambitious dreams.The session not only celebrated the art of storytelling but also nurtured essential values such as perseverance and self-discipline, fostering a positive learning environment in line with the school’s vision of holistic development.
