INDIA is a diverse land housing over 1.4 billion people as of right now. Its unique culture and history amazes me alongside with its food and festivals. The most popular religion here is Hinduism, with many many temples being built and found here. Moreover, India is said to be the birthplace of Hinduism.<\/p>\n

In this blog, I am going to cover India\u2019s :-<\/p>\n
India is dived into six major geographical regions being North, Northeastern, Eastern, Western, Central and South India. All of these regions have their own distinct cultures and heritages. Some areas like the north are influenced by the Mughal rule and strong presence of Sikhism and Hinduism.<\/p>\n
While others like the south has its own Dravidian heritage (refers to the cultural, linguistic, and historical traditions associated with the Dravidian people, who are believed to be among the earliest inhabitants of the Indian subcontinent). India is a vast land with a mix of many, many cultures and tribal groups. All people here live peacefully and share their culture and joy amongst each other.<\/p>\n

Our county is full of hidden places that one needs to visit in order to feel inner satisfaction and peace. There are lots and lots of places in India that very few people have visited.![\"\"](\"https:\/\/dpsgfaridabad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/3-1.jpg\")
<\/p>\n
These include-
\nMajuli Island – Assam
\nHampi – Karnataka
\nTawang – Arunachal Pradesh
\nChopta – Uttarakhand<\/p>\n
These places need to be visited as there is only a small amount of people who come here, so you can come here all by yourself and explore the exquisite beauty of these places.<\/p>\n

\nI believe India is one of the most spiritual countries in the whole world. With so many temples being built and the origin of YOGA in ancient India, one\u2019s soul can rest in the deep jungles of India or in the vast religious sites. Spirituality in India is deeply intertwined with daily life, encompassing a diverse range of practices, beliefs, and rituals rooted in ancient traditions. It manifests through meditation, yoga, temple visits, and festivals, reflecting the country\u2019s rich spiritual heritage and the quest for inner peace and self-realization.<\/p>\n

India is famous for its tasty and flavorful food. Many tourists come to India especially to try the food. Our Indian cuisine is truly unique with many popular foods like many different dishes of Paneer and Chicken being founded here alongside with Samosas, Dosas and Idlis, Biryani and other very delicious foods being founded here. In India, 20\u00a0-30 % of people are vegetarian while others are non-vegetarian.<\/p>\n
Moreover, India is known as the land of spices. It is because of the presence of many flavorsome spices here. Some unique spices of India are- Kashmiri \/Degi Lal Mirch, Asafoetida (Hing), Black Cardamom (Badi Elaichi), and many more.<\/p>\n

Festivals in India are vibrant expressions of the country’s cultural diversity, bringing people together in joyful celebrations. These events are marked by music, dance, and colorful decorations, with traditions that carry deep historical and spiritual significance. They showcase India’s artistic creativity and create a lively, unifying atmosphere across the nation.<\/p>\n

India’s natural beauty is an amusing blend of diverse landscapes that range from majestic mountains to serene rivers and lush forests. Our country offers a variety of scenic wonders, with its varied landforms and terrain showcasing everything from empty and vast deserts to crowded and sandy shores.<\/p>\n
India’s natural landscapes are deeply intertwined with its cultural and spiritual heritage, providing not just breathtaking views but also a sense of peace and inspiration. This rich natural beauty make India not just an awesome place but a land of endless beauty. The people residing here are also amazed by their own country\u2019s inspiring sights.<\/p>\n

During the recent school break from 15 August to 19 August I went on a vacation to a small town in Uttarakhand called Kaudiyala. On my way there, I was amazed by the beauty of the mountains. I took many photos and enjoyed the experience.

After exploring the area a little bit, I stayed in a resort called GMVN Kaudiyala (which was owned by the government) for 2 days. The cabins were made out of wood and were present by the riverside of the Ganges.<\/p>\n

The view there, was jawdropping. I felt connected to nature. There were many animals and insects present there (dogs, monkeys, etc.). Though I was a little irritated by all the different bugs and insects there, I still enjoyed a lot. The scenic beauty there was awesome.<\/p>\n

On Day 2, I went to the formation of the Ganga river in Dev Prayag. Here, two rivers(Bhagirathi and Alaknanda) would merge to create the Ganges river. I took a bath here and enjoyed a lot. This was my first time seeing a view like this. Though the water of the rivers was muddy during the trip, still the experience was Incredible and I enjoyed a lot.<\/p>\n

I then returned back to the resort in the evening where I sat outside and just enjoyed the view of the river as i would never get to see this again. I then just absorbed this breathtaking view of the Ganga river while I sat there in silence. I took amazing pictures and timelapses of the river and also tried a form of photography called light painting.<\/p>\n

On the third day, I went to the Neelkanth temple and I also collected souvenirs on return. Then I went to another resort in Rishikesh city, the resort was located on the banks of the river Ganga. I witnessed Ganga Aarti at the river bank during sunset. It was a very spiritual experience for me, everyone was seeking blessings from Ganga Mata. I returned home the next day. I truly enjoyed experiencing this glimpse our Incredible India.<\/p>\n
