The full moon at night gives the earth and its inhabitants a special powerful and progressive energy. Esoteric teachings suggest that it is easy to focus on specific moments in the Earth\u2019s energy cycle. There are certain days when the positions of the earth, sun and moon enhance the spiritual energy available.<\/p>\n

The Taurus Full Moon, also known as the Vesak the day of the Full Moon, is one of the most powerful full moon events on the lunar calendar. On this day, many years ago, the sage Buddha Shakya was born. A few years later, on the same lunar day, he came to his senses. And decades after enlightenment, he achieved the highest level of freedom on the Vesak the day of the Full Moon. What the Full Moon of Taurus or the Vesak the day of the Full Moon, in the life of the Buddha, clearly indicates is that during this full moon, the most subtle, refined, transcendent fall of earthly spiritual power enters the life of Buddha Shakyamuni. Perhaps, that is why this Full Moon is the 12th<\/sup> Chakra \u2013 the Chakra that connects us to our Self.<\/p>\n

The festival of Vesak the day of the Full Moon is not a celebration of the past. It is a celebration of a current event. Every year on Vesaka Purnima, the sage Buddha Shakya returns to earth, for eight minutes. He guides mankind into a new evolution and showers us with great divine power. To be a part of this event is an opportunity to cleanse past the limitations of our astral bodies. We have the privilege of serving humanity by assisting spiritual leaders in their efforts to direct abundant spiritual energy towards the healing of all beings on earth. Sage Buddha Shakya offers a spiritual aspirant the opportunity to acquire spiritual wisdom that will help transform one\u2019s life.<\/p>\n
