The completion of 75 years of independence, Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav was celebrated at DPS, Greater Faridabad with utmost enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on 12th August, 2022. Class assemblies were held to honour the struggles of many brave hearts that fought for the country & its freedom. The assembly commenced with a prayer followed by a plethora of patriotic performances. The students presented patriotic poems, songs and dances that awakened everyone’s feelings towards the motherland. The Principal, Ms Surjeet Khanna, addressed the students appealing to their nationalistic spirit and urging them to take pride in being an Indian and fulfilling one’s duty with responsibility. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
